Best Practices in Critical Incident Response

The interactive program covers trends in the nature and frequency of critical incidents in the workplace, how to incorporate psychological first aid principles in response to organizations, individuals, and workgroups, how to organize response to incidents in the workplace, school, and with emergency services, exercising cultural competency in the context of response to mass disasters, and how to promote resiliency and self care.
This is a comprehensive one day course which will help the trained individual develop proficiency in critical incident care as well as introduce the novice to the psychology behind crisis counseling. This course is open to Fire, Police, EMS, Mental Health, and clergy. The course is also designed for managers and supervisors. The course is interactive with videos and role plays.
